Dehra Dun, Dec 2 (PTI) The Uttarakhand government today reassigned five IAS officers, including Additional Chief Secretary Alok Kumar Jain, to new departments. Jain has been relieved from the responsibility of Power and Renewable Energy department but would continue to hold the charge of departments of finance, Infrastructure Development and religious tourism, an official release here said. The responsibility of Power and Renewable Energy departments has been given to S S Sandhu, who is already holding charge of Secretary to the Chief Minister, Tourism and Health. However, he has been relieved from the charge of Health and Family Welfare department. S Ramaswamy has been given the charge of Health and Family Welfare department in addition to his earlier responsibility of Principal Secretary, Transport and Planning. The responsibility of watershed management has been taken away from Secretary M H Khan, who however, would continue to hold other departments of disaster management and labour and employment. Subardhan, who is looking after the charge of Food and Civil Supplies as Additional Secretary, has been given the additional responsibility of watershed management and AYUSH departments.
